12Cr1MoV, alloy structural steel. Unified number code: a31132. Standard: GB / t3077-1999

 

Main characteristics: compared with 12CrMoV steel, this steel has higher oxidation resistance and heat strength. The creep and rupture strength of the steel are close to each other, and the steel has high plasticity under the condition of long-term tension; the process and weldability of the steel are good, but it needs to be preheated to 300 ℃ before welding, and stress relief treatment is required after welding.

12Cr1MoV steel is widely used in Superheater, header and main steam pipe of high pressure and subcritical power plant boiler. At 580 ℃, it still has high thermal strength, oxidation resistance and high endurance plasticity. The production process is simple and the welding performance is good, but it is sensitive to the normalizing cooling rate. Long term use at 580 ℃ will produce the second kind temper brittleness caused by the segregation of impurity elements such as phosphorus at the grain boundary. Pearlite spheroidization will occur after long-term use.

 

This kind of steel is mainly used after normalizing and high temperature tempering to make superheated steel pipe, conduit, serpentine tube and other corresponding forgings in high pressure equipment with working temperature no more than 570-585 ℃.
