No.20 steel pipe plays an important role in China's steel pipe industry. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 240 steel pipe production enterprises in China, more than 250 sets of seamless steel pipe units, with an annual capacity of more than 4.5 million tons. In terms of caliber, 35% of them are less than φ 76 and 25% are less than φ 159-650. In terms of varieties, general purpose pipes are 1.9 million tons, accounting for 54%; petroleum pipes are 760000 tons, accounting for 5.7%; hydraulic prop and precision pipes are 150000 tons, accounting for 4.3%; stainless pipes, bearing pipes and automobile pipes are 50000 tons, accounting for 1.4%.
